The Wim Hof ​​Method® Coming to Dalarna in 2026

In 2026, the Wim Hof ​​Method is coming to Dalarna, led by certified Wim Hof ​​Method Instructor Mami Wata Nordic at Candlelight Studios.

We are excited to introduce regular Wim Hof ​​Method workshops, events, and expeditions to Candlelight Studios for the first time, led by certified Wim Hof ​​Method instructor, Mami Wata Nordic.

This is a rare opportunity to experience regular guided, science-based breathwork and cold exposure practices locally, welcoming both local residents and international visitors. At Candlelight Studios, cold exposure for large groups takes place in our former altar baptism pool — a space historically used for full-body water immersion,  now continuing that tradition through guided, safety-led cold exposure. We also hold Wim Hof ​​Method events and expeditions outdoors in surrounding forests and lakes.



What is the Wim Hof ​​Method®?

The Wim Hof ​​Method is a practice based on breathing, cold exposure and mindset to help you live happier, healthier and stronger.

The method has been scientifically proven to reduce inflammation - the cause of most diseases, relieve pain and strengthen your immune system.  Breath and cold have shaped human resilience throughout our evolutionary history, yet our relationship with these natural forces has largely faded in modern life.

The Wim Hof ​​Method brings these elements back in a structured and intentional way, supporting the body's natural ability to adapt to stress and regulate itself more effectively.

Breathwork

Although we breathe constantly, its full potential is often untapped; the method's specialized breathing techniques support increased energy, reduced stress, and a more responsive immune system.

Cold Exposure

When practiced gradually and safely, it can reduce inflammation, improve sleep, and stimulate the release of endorphins that naturally elevate mood, as well as the buildup of brown adipose tissue and resulting fat loss.

Mindset

Cold exposure and conscious breathing require patience and dedication in order to be fully mastered. Armed with focus and determination you are ready to explore and eventually master your own body and mind.

What happens in a workshop?

You'll learn the core techniques, theory and practical tools of the Wim Hof ​​Method through guided sessions led by a certified Wim Hof ​​Method Instructor.

Workshops are carefully curated to introduce the method in a safe and supportive way, combining explanation and practice so you can understand not just what to do, but why it works.

Candlelight Studios 

A former church transformed into a creative and well-being sanctuary — a place for presence, restoration and embodied experience.

Just 2–3 minutes walk from the train station, and only a few minutes from lush forest and nature, the studio sits at a rare meeting point between accessibility and stillness.



Mami Wata Nordic

Mami Wata Nordic is a certified Wim Hof ​​Method instructor with a background spanning over two decades in teaching, music, performing, and well-being. She is the co-founder of Candlelight Studios.

The Wim Hof ​​Method has been a life-changing tool in her own journey, supporting greater calm, clarity, and resilience. Her workshops and events are grounded and inclusive, welcoming people of all backgrounds to learn the method safely and confidently at their own pace.
